Nordbau 2026: Solutions & More with Wacker Neuson

09. September 2026, 10:00

From September 9 to 13, 2026, Wacker Neuson will be exhibiting at NordBau in Neumünster under the motto “Solutions built for you.”

Visitors can explore the approximately 1,000-square-meter Booth N115 in the North Outdoor Area to see innovative compact machines, construction equipment, and practical solutions for efficient construction sites. A highlight this year is the new ET18, ET20, and ET25 mini-excavators in the 2-ton class. They demonstrate how Wacker Neuson combines compact dimensions with high performance, versatile Application areas, and noticeable ease of operation. The exhibition presence is rounded out by the new RT remote-controlled trench roller and new electric Trowels equipped with the Battery One rechargeable battery.

“NordBau is an important platform for Wacker Neuson in northern Germany—close to our customers, close to real-world applications, and close to the challenges that construction companies, landscaping firms, and municipalities face every day,” says Fred Cordes, Managing Director of Wacker Neuson Germany. “This is my first NordBau with Wacker Neuson, but I’ve been familiar with the industry and its challenges for many years. That makes me all the more excited for the direct exchange in Neumünster. With our trade show presence, we’re showcasing exactly what Wacker Neuson stands for: compact machines that operate efficiently, versatilely, and comfortably on the construction site—and thereby make our customers noticeably more successful.”

More than just a Mini-excavator: ET18, ET20, and ET25

With the three models ET18, ET20, and ET25, Wacker Neuson is showcasing a technically redesigned generation of Mini-excavators in the 2-ton class at NordBau. The development focused on versatile application areas, efficient performance, and a high level of operator comfort during daily construction site use. A key unique selling point in this class is the parallel-operating Auxiliary control circuits, which can be selected and operated at the push of a button on the “ ” Joystick without the need for manual switching. Even when performing multiple movements simultaneously, the Mini-excavators can be controlled smoothly and precisely. Standard components include a hydraulic telescoping travel gear with a minimum track width of 990 millimeters for the ET18 and ET20, and 1,100 millimeters for the ET25, making it ideal for narrow access points. The optionally available VDS continuously variable upper carriage tilt, along with the integrated quick-change function featuring two-button operation, further contribute to flexible application areas and short setup times.

Definitely a strong result: The new RT trench roller

With the new remote-controlled RT trench roller, which will also be on display at NordBau, Wacker Neuson is setting new standards in safety, ease of operation, and efficiency. The Roller complies with the European Standard EN 474 and features a combined radio and infrared remote control system: While the radio signal ensures stable data transmission between the Roller and the remote control, the infrared system continuously monitors the direct line of sight, thereby ensuring greater safety for the operator and others on the construction site. If this line of sight is interrupted, the machine stops automatically. All control functions are at the operator’s fingertips, and an LED display provides information about running time, maintenance, and diagnostics. The patented Return-to-Center function automatically realigns the Roller to a straight path, facilitating uniform compaction—especially in long trenches and during applications in pipeline and utility construction.

Battery-Powered Trowels with Battery One: Emission-Free for the Finishing Touch

In the field of trowels as well, Wacker Neuson is showcasing battery-powered solutions at NordBau: The battery-powered trowels with Battery One give concrete surfaces the finishing touch without producing any local emissions. This protects both the operator and the environment and also enables work in the Interior. The new electric trowels are available in two sizes, are easy to operate, and offer a running time of an entire workday. Equipped with the Battery One battery, they can be started easily at the push of a button and expand Wacker Neuson’s lineup of battery-powered construction equipment.
