Live experience: zero emission solutions on own demo area. Machine highlight: new EW100 wheeled excavator.
From June 18 to 20, 2023, Wacker Neuson will be presenting innovative machine highlights as well as tried-and-tested construction machinery and equipment at demopark in Eisenach, Europe's largest outdoor exhibition for the green industry. One focus will be on Wacker Neuson's zero emission battery-powered solutions. Customers can experience and test these live at stand A107 in Wacker Neuson's own demo area.
"At demopark, the focus is on the live experience of our machines and equipment," explains Axel Fischer, Managing Director of Wacker Neuson Germany. "At our demo area, customers can test and see for themselves our zero emission machines and equipment, i.e. excavators, dumpers, battery-powered rammers and the like. Another highlight is our new EW100 wheeled excavator, which impresses not only with its performance but also with digital assistance systems. In addition, our innovations in the zero emission segment once again demonstrate that Wacker Neuson offers everything customers need for an emission-free construction site."
EW100: a new era of wheeled excavators
The Wacker Neuson EW100 wheeled excavator is unique in its class and sets new standards. During development of the machine, the focus was on Construction Site 4.0: Intelligent attachment management, a sophisticated human-machine interface and preparation for various assistance systems and interfaces are just a few examples. When changing attachments via the 10-inch display, the machine supports the operator. For example, it automatically adjusts the machine dynamics to the attached tool. In addition, the powerful traction hydraulics and high basic working capacity mean that the machine can also be used for tasks that would otherwise require the use of a 14-ton excavator.
zero emission innovations
Wacker Neuson's trade show presence will focus on products from the zero emission range. One innovation is the first reversible battery plate with direct drive: APU3050e. The vibratory plate with a working width of 50 centimeters and a centrifugal force of 30 kilonewtons is characterized by its good maneuverability. A special feature is the DireX direct drive developed by Wacker Neuson, which ensures greater efficiency: the vibratory plate does not require V-belts. As a result, there are no transmission or friction losses, the plate is extremely low-maintenance and offers a longer service life.
Another highlight is Wacker Neuson's first electric telescopic handler TH412e. It impresses with its lifting height at the bucket pivot point of 4.5 meters and is a useful addition to the zero emission portfolio. The latest generation of the well-known WL20e electric wheel loader will also be unveiled, now equipped with a powerful lithium-ion battery. Other light and compact equipment from the zero emission range will also be on show at the Wacker Neuson stand. These include BatteryOne, a standardized and user-friendly battery system that focuses on CO2-free and sustainable use of light equipment. The battery can be used not only in all battery-electric equipment from Wacker Neuson, but also in light equipment from other manufacturers.
The zero emission equipment will be presented several times a day in a moderated demo show or can be experienced and tested live between shows.
