Experience Product Premieres Live
A highlight of the Wacker Neuson Universe event was the unveiling of the new EW135 wheeled excavator. The machine demonstrated its capabilities during an impressive heavy-lift demonstration. With the EW135, Wacker Neuson is expanding its wheeled excavator portfolio to include a new performance class. The permanently mounted articulated boom increases stability and enables particularly high lifting forces. Intelligent hydraulics, MiC 4.0 technology, and the integration of modern attachments lay the foundation for precise and versatile applications.
Shortly after their market launch in September 2026, Wacker Neuson presented the new WL750p and WL950p performance wheel loaders to a wider audience at Universe. The new models offer a wide range of options and equipment configurations for various application requirements. Intelligent assistance systems such as the loading assistant, automatic bucket return and lift height limiter simplify repetitive work processes. High thrusting force, powerful hydraulics and travel speeds of up to 40 km/h enable versatile and productive applications. The Power Drive system and the Load Sensing system with standard Flow Sharing combine high performance with intuitive operation, operator comfort, and safety.
In addition to the new production machines, Wacker Neuson provided insights into product development and showcased selected studies and concepts. These included examples from the design process, virtual development methods, applications from prototype construction, and remote-controlled and autonomous machine concepts. This gave guests an impression of how Wacker Neuson transforms initial ideas into forward-looking solutions for the construction site.
Center of Excellence for Compact Construction Machines
The production and development site in Hörsching near Linz provided the ideal setting for the Wacker Neuson Universe. On the 170,000-square-meter site, compact excavators and dumpers are developed and produced for worldwide use. At the Wacker Neuson Universe, guests were given insights into the logistics, the paint shop, the shipping area, and the production lines for excavators and dumpers during factory tours.
Another highlight was a visit to the state-of-the-art Wacker Neuson TestArena, which went into operation in 2023 and is located in the immediate vicinity of the production plant.
The eight-hectare site is equipped with testing stations for function, driving, braking, and noise tests. In addition, approximately 70 percent of the site is designed as a habitat for wildlife and a nature reserve. In this way, the TestArena combines innovative product development and comprehensive real-world testing with a clear commitment to environmental responsibility.
